It has been a LONG time since I last posted, which means I have oodles and oodles of pictures to share! Since I last posted, we were able to spend a month home with family. We spent Christmas with the Bockholt side of the family, and Hailey/Grandpa's birthday and New Years with the Higgins side of the family. We were also able to be in Utah for Jamie and Rob's wedding, which was such a sweet experience. We also blessed Caleb with all of our family there. It was such a fun month, it was bittersweet to come back to Memphis!!
I do want to mention a few updates on Caleb. On October 30th, Caleb had an EEG to get an update on his brain activity. Then we waited a long 6 weeks until we got to go to the neurologist. On December 11th, we went into Dr. Alhamda's office, and got the most exciting news ever... Caleb's EEG came back totally normal. So this means no more seizure medicines! And as long as Caleb meets specific milestones on time, we have no more neurology appointments!! Hooray!!! He is still doing physical therapy and developmental therapy just to keep him on track, but he is doing phenomenal. He is almost 8 months now, has three cute little teeth, is sitting on his own, and just the happiest kid you ever met (as long as mom isn't too far away... he is definitely a mama's boy!!) He is growing great- at his 6 month check up, he weighed a whopping 19 lbs 4 oz (75th percentile) and was 29 in long (95th percentile). He is just a doll and we love him to death!
Hailey is doing great and is such a great big sister. She is 4 now, and is still doing preschool which is the highlight of her week. She is a big help with Caleb, plays with him and keeps him happy. I have never seen so much love as I do when those two are together. They absolutely adore each other (I use the word adore because that is Hailey's favorite word right now). Caleb absolutely lights up when he sees Hailey, it is so precious. She just had her 4 year old check up, and is 43 inches tall... definitely seeing some of that Higgins' height in that girl!!
Ok, so as promised, here are a ton of pictures. Seriously, there are sooo many. But it was hard to narrow it down to these! I have a lot more to post, since most of the pictures of our time with the Bockholts are on Blaine's phone and need to be put on here, as well as pictures when Caleb was blessed. Those will come soon... well, they will be up eventually. I am not committing myself to any sort of timeline since I know I won't keep it!
