Halloween/Trip to Charleston

Here are a few pictures from our Halloween activites this year:
My beautiful ballerina

My wiggly monkey who would not hold still long enough for a decent picture!!

Fun with friends at the Ward Trunk or Treat!

Literally the best picture I got of them together the whole night.

Playing carnival games

Caleb loved trick or treating! After I showed him what to do at the first car, he ran around to each one and held his bucket up for candy. So fun!

Hating this Halloween nonsense!

We had the opportunity this past week to drive to Charleston, South Carolina with Blaine for a conference. While Dad was busy in meetings, we got to go play and explore downtown Charleston! Such a beautiful city, it was hard to leave!

The Atlantic Ocean!! First time any of us had ever visited it!

And we saw DOLPHINS! In the wild! It was the coolest thing ever!!!!

Huge air craft carrier

Hanging out around Aquarium Wharf

Mom was so excited to see the ocean, whereas the kids preferred to just play in the dirt...

Caleb loved seeing the water! If I would have let him, he would have been out swimming.

Playing at the park downtown, right across the street from the awesome hotel we stayed at

The beach! First time ever for the kids... Caleb absolutely loved it. Hailey hated pretty much every minute, she hated how loud the waves were.

Joining in on Dad and Hailey's race down the beach

And they're off!

As close as she was willing to get to the water :(

Fishing boats! I've never seen one so close.

Caleb spent most of the time running after the pigeons and seagulls, he thought it was hysterical.

This is the pier we walked out on, which is in the upcoming photos...

I think Blaine is dreaming of California beaches...

Walking out on the pier! We got to see a fisherman catch a sting ray!

Caleb really wanted to lay on the ground, face down, on a pier covered in bird poo. This is Blaine attempting to keep his face off. So gross.

Hailey loved the pier... not so noisy up here :)
