Grandma Bockholt came for a visit (ok, I guess its been a month now, so I suppose I am a little behind!) We had a blast with her here, and got to go on many new adventures, including a trip to Nashville! Here is a glimpse of her trip here!
Feeding the giraffes at the zoo! This was a super cool experience. We had Hailey go first, and after the first piece of lettuce she was done... wasn't a big fan of that big long tongue touching her hand! |
And Grandma's face says it all here... she could not feed that thing fast enough and it just kept inching closer and closer! |
Went to see the Peabody ducks again, and they gave Hailey a free duck master cookie |
Mud Island, which is a 1/2 mile scale model of the Mississippi River... and Hailey walked the whole way, down and back (a total of a mile) in the water. And complained for the rest of the day, and the next, that her feet hurt :) |
Terrible picture, but we got to eat at the Aquarium restaurant! It was so cool, you are surrounded by a 200,000 gallon aquarium. |
The pumpkin patch! We got to go pick our own pumpkins this year. |
On the hay ride... she kept saying "this is the best hay ride ever!" |
Picking the perfect pumpkin! |
On our weekend trip to Nashville. We ended up going on the weekend of a big celebration, so we got to go into the Parthenon for free! |
Nashville, standing over the river |
Hailey and her new monkey which Grandma helped her make. This thing has pretty much become the fourth member of our family and goes everywhere with us! |
Yeah. Really? |
The Grand Ole Opry! |
