It's true. And for those of you who do actually look at my blog, you know its true because its been four months since I posted. Four. Wow. Really, its just pathetic. The whole point of this blog is to keep our friends and families up to speed on what is going on in our lives. So I offer an apology. Sorry moms dads and grandmas and sisters and everyone else. I suck at blogging. So, let me give you a few details of our lives in the past few months, then I will let you see some cute pictures and videos, because I know, its really all about Hailey and you just want to see how adorable my princess is.
Ok, honestly I can't remember too much exciting stuff. All of us got to go home to Idaho in June for a few weeks. Blaine had a conference in Boise, and I told him there was no way in you no where that he was going there and I wasn't. It was so fun. All of my sisters were able to come down for a few days and play. Blaine and my dad went bear hunting, it was Blaine's first time hunting and he had a blast. We drove to Twin Falls to meet up with Blaine's parents and see Shoshone Falls. It was so good to spend some time with them. I spent a good portion of my trip sick as a dog with food poisoning or something. Yeah. Hailey and I went fishing with grandpa, and Hailey caught her first fish! It was so exciting. And well, Hailey got spoiled. Of course. Her favorite things to do while there were swimming, picking raspberries, jumping on the trampoline, and rocking with grandma and grandpa.

This look is in reaction to Grandpa telling her to kiss the fish. |
I do have to apologize for the small number of pictures. My mother takes most of the pictures on her camera, and I was really smart and didn't get them onto a CD before I left, so when I get those later I will post a few.
After our trip home, we came back to find out that the house we were hoping to rent from some friends was going to come through after all! And after a few stressful weeks of figuring things out with the house and our apartment, we now live in our very first home. Renting of course, but still, its a home. We absolutely love it here. Its a three bedroom, two bath house, and the couple who owns it took great care of it so it is in near perfect condition. We have a nice big yard that we love, a a garage, and more than enough space now. For the first time in my life, I have empty shelves and cupboards. And the closets are now filled with things that should be in closets, not just boxes and boxes because it is our only storage space. I cannot even tell you how much we love this little house. I will post pictures soon, just haven't had a chance to take any yet :)
Those are the most eventful things that have happened lately. We have been doing some swimming and barbecuing and all the other fun summer stuff. Oh! How could I forget to mention it... we are no longer in nursery!! Wahoo!! Actually I miss it a little bit, but we are glad to have the chance to serve elsewhere in our ward. Blaine is now the Executive Secretary, and I am serving as the first counselor in the Primary Presidency. I love Primary. It is so much fun. Hailey of course is not so big on the idea of going to nursery alone now, so we are working on that. She is extremely shy and keeps telling us that its scary. So hopefully she will get used to going alone before she moves up to Primary in January!
And since it has been so long, here are a few pictures from months ago that I never posted. Sorry!
